All of us have seen a sign like this one everywhere, from earrings to tattoos; but most of the time I have seen it it breaks my heart and to be true it also makes me mad, because many (I do not want to use a universal statement here, although I am tempted….) of those who wear it live as haters of Jesus, and bring shame to the precious name of my Savior.
Jesus said,
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments”
Now… Do you truly love Jesus?
Do you even know what His commandments are for us?
So, please…. search your heart before wearing a T-shirt with a logo like this, and please, do not let your children wear it if they are walking as Covenant breakers.

>I agree … mostly. I cringe when I see Christian t-shirts on people whose behavior seems to be of this world.I do wear t-shirts that proclaim my faith, for a few reasons. First, some of the clever designs can be excellent conversation-starters. Second, we live in an area where Christ-followers are a minority, and I hope that my boldness might encourage others. Finally, wearing a visible symbol of Jesus keeps me constantly aware that I am an ambassador for Him.

Amen dear sister! Quite frankly, we never put relgious bumper stickers on our cars because we invariably irritate other drivers from time to time and don’t want them to scorn Christ on our account.

“Jesus” is an icon to many rather than being the second person of the Godhead and the living Lord and Christ. I like what Thabiti Anyabwile said, “Jesus is not your homeboy. Jesus is not your boyfriend. Jesus is God.”

Thank you for caring enough to post this warning! Jesus is our Lord and savior, not a fashion statement or fad!!! Jesus is Lord of lords and King of kings, not an accessory or adornment! Such apparel is really pride and self glorification. That Jesus would love ‘us’ at all is the only thing worth bragging about! But only in gratitude and action! Blessings!
