O Lord, that I may have
eyes to to see what it really means
to be on my way to Heaven
O Lord, that I may have
eyes to see that this
earth and all on it
will pass away.
O Lord, that I may have
eyes to see that Heaven
is where I should lay upon
treasures that will last.
O Lord, that I may have
eyes to see beyond
the clock and the calendar
and up to eternity.
O Lord, that I may long
for Heaven,
that I may diligently
pursue the things from above.
O Lord, that I may have
eyes to see what it really means
to be on my way to Heaven.
O Lord, that I may live
aiming at Heaven
longing for home,
eyes fixed on Jesus,
and only on Him.
Daily.
